Our online store operates from multiple warehouses, without a physical customer-facing location. Orders must be placed through our website, and delivery will be handled by the closest warehouse based on the delivery address.

We currently organize return pickup ONLY for Bengaluru location on an trial basis depending on customer's preference. We coordinate the pickup with the customers from Bangalore post the completion of trip.

We plan to extend this feature to other locations in the future. At present customers from other location will have to send the items back by Speed post/Parcel/Courier. We refund the Speedpost charges as applicable upto the same amount spent by us to deliver the items to your location.

We own numerous quantity of each rental products and hence it will NOT be feasible to post all the images of each and every available item online.

Furthermore, even if the pictures were posted on the site, we cannot commit to deliver the same item as we are a rental agency catering to multiple locations and orders are filled on a first come first serve basis.

We concentrate on ensuring that the product is adequately maintained with hygiene as our top priority.

We do not encourage return of product without usage based on subjective opinion of product quality.

Our primary focus is hygiene and suitability of usage of our products with a cost effective model that is easy on customer's pocket.

This overrides color, look and feel preferences for the product. Our products are well maintained after each use cycle with a rigorous cleaning process and hence our product will look used and also have possible signs of wear. However, our team ensures that the products can still be used for successful completion of the trek.

If you have a very strict preference for new looking products/specific colors/models etc, we request you to purchase a brand new product from the manufacturer directly via our website.

We pay for both the delivery and return delivery to us.

On placing an order with us, we will send the items without any extra charge to reach you on or before the selected "Your Delivery date". The dispatch is done via INDIA POST SPEED POST SERVICE and is paid for by DMC.

After usage, you are expected to send back the items using the same packing or different packing(if need arises) via INDIA POST SPEED POST SERVICE. At this point of time, you will be initially paying the speed post courier charges. Once the items are received, we will refund the amount(equal to the amount spent by us to get the items to your location) along with the security deposit after deducting the usage charges.

Kindly note that even if you use a different courier to send back the items, we would still refund only the amount that would be incurred if INDIA POST SPEED POST SERVICE was used to send the items back to us.

Number of days = Your Delivery date - Return send date(Both days inclusive)

Note : Both days are included in the calculation. The days taken by logistics to deliver items from Deccan Mountain Club to your location and back from your location to Deccan Mountain Club are NOT included for calculation of Days/Charges.

Your Delivery date : 

This is the Date when you want the item to be delivered at your location. The charges for the item will be calculated from this date onwards.

Return send date :

This is the date when you will be sending back the items to Deccan Mountain Club after usage. The charges for usage will be inclusive till this day.

Note: The number of days involved in to and fro transit will NOT be counted in calculation of charges/days.

We will be refunding the return courier charges as applicable for using India Post Speed Post service.

If the item involves a per day charge, then it is calculated as follows.

Per day charge X Number of days= Total Usage Charges.

Number of days = Requested Delivery date - Return Courier dispatch date

If the item has a one time cost for entire duration then that cost is taken as the usage charge for the entire duration.

It is calculated based on the below logic.

Refund Amount = Security deposit -(minus) Usage Charges +(plus) One way return charges as applicable on using INDIA POST SPEED POST SERVICE.

95% of the Amount will be refunded if informed 14 days before 'Requested Delivery Date'(excluding this date).

90% of the Amount will be refunded if informed within 14 days of 'Requested Delivery Date'.

Note: If you intend to cancel the order but the items are already delivered at your location, kindly refrain from opening the packing box and resent it back at the earliest to get the 90% refund plus the return courier charges as applicable while using INDIA POST SPEED POST service.

We will refund the money back to the original account once the rented items are returned and accounted for at our location.
